I’m in such a good mood and I’m so happy about it!
I didn’t wake up in a good mood. I woke up feeling down and I was judging myself. I was thinking about all the things that I failed to do, all the things that I wanted to do and wasn’t disciplined enough to do them. I was thinking about the things that I want, feeling them missing, feeling the lack of them in my life. I was judging what I should have or could have done differently to not have failed and had the outcome that I wanted.
I picked up my journal this morning and began writing about and thinking about what I want, and that turned my judging into gratitude. Thinking about what I want and why I wanted what I want changed my attitude for the day! A shift of focus from judging to gratitude. Now I feel focused and a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks instead of the stress and overwhelm that I was feeling earlier about all I need to and want to do.
What creates the gratitude feeling? Thinking about your wants; who you want to be, what you want to do, what you want to experience and WHY you want those things. Building the image of your dreams and desires, your goals and visions, getting the image clearer and clearer in your mind. Bringing the image of what you want into the present moment asking, what is most important now?
What do you want? Who do you want to be? What do you want to do? What do you want to experience? Why?
What’s most important to you NOW in this present moment?
