a word, an intention

i have a word for my year. sometimes more than one. this word could be defined as my intention.

for me what helps make a year, a moment, a period of time fulfilling is having a word, an intention, to help guide my being.

an intention to be who i want to be and to create what i want to create.

goals are important, i enjoy having goals, and i have many.

being may be more important than doing. so i have my word, an intention.

Reading books is an activity that I enjoy and is important to me. Reading has been many things for me; an escape, adventure, wonder and curiosity, knowledge and growth.

Through my reading and my thoughts, I began asking myself questions that opened me to my dreams and desires. Becoming aware of what was most important to me and the way I was living.

Being aware of what I wanted I started living my truth, creating the life that I wanted to live; being who I wanted to be, doing what I wanted to do and experiencing what I wanted to experience.

Life’s Journey

How often are you living in the moment? How often are you aware that this NOW moment is the only moment there is, the only moment that matters?

Awareness of who you are and what you want is what allows you to make the positive choices in the now moment to live and to create the life that you want to live. Awareness that you are responsible for your choices is what allows you to be positive and grateful for what you are living, to enjoy the moment – your life journey.

It is empowering to look to your future and imagine the life that you want to live; who you want to be; what you want to do, and what you want to experience. Making positive choices in the moment knowing that the choice is moving you in the direction that you want to go. Connecting with your inner being, your guidance system is powerful and guides your expansion.

It is good to be aware of what you want – where you want to go, and to be aware of where you were – how much you’ve grown. To be aware in the moment and be grateful for all that you were and for all that you are becoming. It is an awareness that allows you to enjoy the journey, to enjoy the NOW moment knowing that you are always becoming, you are always creating!

Life is lived in the NOW moment. Life is not lived in the past and life is not lived in the future. Enjoy your moments, being grateful for what you have lived and experienced and being grateful for what you are creating and how you are expanding. And in these moments of gratitude, in the NOW moments of life. Feel your heart filled with love and joy. Feel overflowing of happiness and harmony. Feel the calm peace and serenity. Feel the powering energy and enthusiasm that is life.

Living My Truth

I used to live my life without knowing my values. I wasn’t living my truth. I was going in all different directions than the direction that I wanted to go.

I was going around in circles in my life. Not being who I wanted to be (always holding myself back to please someone else), not doing what I wanted to do, not experiencing what I wanted to experience.

I wasn’t living by my values, and I didn’t know where I was or where exactly I wanted to go. I made decisions based on what was expected of me, or what I thought was expected of me.

I lived my life waiting for life to happen to me. Often living for the days end and tomorrows beginning.

I made excuses for why I wasn’t being who I wanted to be, doing what I wanted to do, or experiencing what I wanted to experience.

I was doing less and less of what I enjoyed. More and more I was feeling worry, doubt, fear, anxiety, stress or overwhelm.

I gradually realized that I wasn’t living by my values. I had a vague idea of what my values were. I clarified my values and defined my values. I started growing in the direction that I wanted, no more going around in circles.

I started being who I want to be, doing what I want to do, and experiencing what I wanted to experience.

Today I am happy and harmonious with my mind at peace with my heart. I wake with enthusiasm, energy and excitement to play and experience a new day. I enjoy the journey of living a fulfilling life.

I go to sleep feeling filled with joy and gratitude for the day and for my life journey. I am excited and enthusiastic to create the life of my dreams.

I am a different person, I took control of my life. I took responsibility for who I wanted to be, what I wanted to do, what I wanted to experience and how I wanted to feel.

I stopped conforming and started creating the life that I want to live. I started living by my values. I knew where I was and where I wanted to go.

I am no longer living to survive the day, waiting for life to happen to me, waiting for the days end and tomorrows beginning. I am no longer going around in circles.

I am enjoying the twists and turns, the rapids and smooth waters, and all the stops along the way of my life journey. I am living my truth!

limits

I am curious about limitations I have for myself. What am I aware of? What am I not aware of?

A question that I ask myself a lot is, ‘am I living fully?’, or ‘am I fully living?’ Am I? Are you?

I am living fully. I am not fully living, there is more that I can be, there is more that I can do and there is more that I can experience. But, I am creating the life that I want to live and I am growing, so, I am living fully.

Are you creating the life that you want to live; being who you want to be, doing what you want to do and experiencing what you want to experience?

What are you dreaming? What do you desire? Are you doing that? Are you living your dreams and desires? Are you living your truth?

What reasons are you giving for not living your dreams and desires? What excuses do you tell? There are no excuses, any excuses and limits are what we have set for ourselves. There can be obstacles. There can be challenges. Obstacles and challenges are experiences for our growth.
