do you get caught up in the want, want, want of life?

i do. there are so many wonderful and amazing things that i want to be, that i want to do and that i want to experience.

there are days that i am focused on what i want, and only what i want. i forget to be in the NOW moment. i forget to enjoy the journey.

wanting is good. when you want something more, something bigger, something better for yourself – it is growth and expansion.

i want to remind you to celebrate where you are right NOW in this moment!

i expect that you are a different person than last year, last month, last week, and even yesterday. you are being who you need to be for the new things that you are doing and experiencing.

celebrate your growth and your life right NOW! you are amazing and whole in this present moment! enjoy your journey, feel the amazing joy, gratitude and love for your being for your life!

one of those moments. a moment of overwhelm, not knowing what to do. not knowing where to start, not knowing where to end.

a moment of helplessness. a moment of being lost, not knowing what is down, not knowing what is up. sinking, deeper and deeper into the unknown.

one of my favorite things to do is kayak. i have a favorite spot that i like to go. i paddle out, enjoying all the water and trees surrounding me.

my mind wanders as i paddle. my thoughts focused and sporadic.

i paddle through the narrows and come into a small outlet that is surrounded by trees. i see green above the water, i see green below the water. the water is clear and smooth.

i think

i relax

i let go

i allow

i connect to all that is

these moments are my time. my time to connect to myself. to be real with myself. to be aware of what’s most important to me. to be aware of my deepest dreams and desires.

it is these moments that i connect and become aware of what i need to let go, what i need to allow. who i’m being. who i want to be. what i’m doing. what i want to do. what i’m experiencing. what i want to experience. how i’m living. how i want to live. what i’m creating. what i want to create.

i have so much to smile and be happy about! my sweet kiddos, in the moment, enjoying life. they teach me so much (that’s for another time).

just moments ago i was frustrated, overwhelmed, feeling the stress that i put onto myself. i consistently plan too much in my days. and today is one of those days, i know this and i was coming “to terms” with what i won’t be getting to today in a not so graceful way.

enter my sweet kids, their energy and being in the moment…

now, i’m smiling and breathing peacefully. i’m going to go outside for a walk like i planned (and then un-planned). i will admit that it won’t be as long a walk as i want it to be though, still, i’m putting me first (this is for another time too).

be in the moment! choose what makes you happy and smile. choose what makes the rise of your shoulders release and feel the tension ease out.
