change happens in all areas of life
when there is a change your focus is zeroed in

zeroed in on what you need it to be
what is the change happening now?

when you are zeroed in
you lose some priorities that you had
you feel out of balance

you don’t spend as much time
creating
reading
exercising
socializing
being outside
sleeping
meditating

you don’t do what you want for
eating healthy
working your business
being present to those you love
taking care of your family
taking care of yourself

change happens
how aware are you to how each change effects you?

accept it
know that you will be off balance for a bit
grow with it
be aware

with awareness
you will be able to prioritize differently
and keep what’s most important now

you will be able to shift
to what’s most important
and keep balance in your life

balance in life is everchanging with change
balance is being present
balance is being aware
balance is choosing what’s most important to you

balance in life is to be looked at more broadly
not focused on a short time period
balance is part of growth
spiraling upward growth
balance changes with growth

balance is more like a teeter totter of life
you have your ups and downs
and as you go through the ups and downs and changes
you will be in the center between the ups and downs
you will be in the center between the changes and growth

when you are feeling out of balance
breathe
become aware of what’s changing
what’s most important to you?
what needs to shift with the change?
what will you shift again when the change is embodied?

letting go

i love summer and seeing the trees full of their leaves. i like to watch the leaves shining, shimmering as they dance and reflect the sun. i too love the pieces of me, dancing and moving together reflecting the different pieces of me and who i am.

i am not always happy to see the leaves falling, and i resist the thought of summer and fall passing into winter. what am i resisting in my life? what pieces of me am i holding onto that i need to let go to allow for growth?

why do i resist? the trees don’t resist the letting go of their leaves. it is nature. it is natural. it is intended for growth to let go and allow for change.

what do i need to let go? the change of seasons indicates that letting go for being and new growth is needed. i need change for my being and growth too.

it’s not easy to let go some pieces of you, even the pieces you don’t want, they are connected to you, a part of you. i have experienced, letting go allows for growth.

and so i do so again. this time, not so graciously, i put up a fight. i kicked and screamed. i allowed myself to do the kicking and the screaming, i allowed all that energy to flow through me. and when i was done, i let it go.

i let it leave me, i decided that i could feel it and that i didn’t have to hold onto it.

right away i felt lighter. right away i felt freer. right away i felt new positive energy coming in to create and grow in the direction that i want to go.

i was being truer to myself and allowing more of me to be who i want to be, allowing more of me to do what i want to do, and allowing more of me to experience what i want to experience.

it’s interesting to me that as the trees have lost their leaves, i too have lost some pieces of me. i let go what needed to be let go to allow for my being and growth. i let go what i needed to let go to live my truth.

wanting change

i’m not happy with an experience in my journey right now, i want it to change. it is not a change that can be done quickly, it will affect many other areas of my life. i am easily overwhelmed and stressed by small triggers and need to make the change as soon as possible.

i find myself getting overtaken and lost in feelings of worry and doubt, fear of not… not finding the change i need, not acting quickly enough, not making the right choice, not living my truth.

i am so happy and grateful for many things in areas of my life that i want to change, but so often i get caught up and swept away in the wanting of change, wanting something more that i don’t have.

and i wonder if i focused on being grateful for what was good in that area of my life, what then would i create? and how much faster could i create it?

letting go of the worry, doubt and fear. letting go the overwhelm and feeling lack.

allowing gratitude to fill me. gratitude for what is good in this part of my journey. gratitude for what i am learning and experiencing. gratitude for the challenge. gratitude for the growth. gratitude for all the pieces that were (and are) good in this piece of me that it is now time for me to change.

gratitude for growth!

what is your passion?

what’s most important to you?

knowing your values and the answer to what is your passion or what’s most important to you helps to guide you and keep you growing. and in challenging times to help you ‘keep on keeping on’.

one of my phrases during a major life change that was challenging was, ‘it’s good it’s going’.

the changes in life throughout life may be good positive changes for us – that does not mean that they are easy to experience.

we need to know how to deal with and manage; doubt, fear, anxiety, high stress levels, and worry.

knowing what we are passionate about or what’s most important to us, and having goals or visions for our passions and what we want gives us a vision. so that we can move towards the vision; giving us positive energy as we move towards what is most important to us.

are you taking steps to go in that direction? it will help you to ‘keep on keeping on’ having a positive focus on something important to you if you are going through a challenging change right now.

too positive?

are you living your life too positive?

when you live your life positively; you look for the positive in ALL of life

  • the good in people (you know it’s there)
  • the positive outcome in a bad situation or event
  • the lesson that you are learning
  • the experience that you are gaining

you blind yourself to the negative that you DO need to see, to open to awareness and take action on.

you view the bad and negative as a challenge, as a period of growth – which is good – if that growth is in alignment with who you are.

even when you like change and are welcome to change, if you are only looking for the positive; you do not readily see the right and positive choices, the right and positive path to the changes that need to be made.

you start traveling, or drifting, off course through the wrong choices and changes down the wrong path, giving and pouring your positive energies into these changes.

then slowly, or suddenly, realizing that you are not following the path meant for you, you are not doing what makes you happy. you are not doing what’s most important to you.

are you blinding yourself to negative that would be an awareness to you for a different change?

are you blinding yourself with a false positive and not living your truth?
