what do you need to learn?

i’ve been writing a book. i enjoy the writing and feeling the creative energy moving through me into thoughts and words on the paper. still, i have stopped and started multiple times. i am in the phase of my review and editing before i  pass it on to the experts in other areas that i will need help with.

amazingly, and not surprisingly (although it does still happily surprise me when the universe gives me exactly what i need), i saw an online summit for authors and publishing and have been listening to many sessions all about being an author and publishing.

i knew that there were decisions that i need to make and that i didn’t know what my decision should be because i didn’t have the knowledge to make the decision. after listening to the summit sessions i am able to make many decisions to keep moving forward with publishing my book. and the decisions i still need more information to make a decision, i know where to look for the information.

i like this experience, it reminds me that though i’ve been moving forward (although haltingly) with this process of writing and publishing my book, there were still things that i needed to learn and get educated about.

Living your truth is being guided by your dreams and desires. It is not living by somebody else’s expectations for you and it is not living the life others think you should live. Living your truth is all about you. It is about what you want and what’s most important to you. Living your truth is about your dreams and desires.

Living your truth is knowing your values and that you can live by your values and what is most important to you. Values provide your foundation and are your guidance system to living your truth and creating your fulfilling life journey.

Living your truth is experiencing many different activities and adventures in all areas of your life that you want to experience. Experiences give you awareness, growth, challenges, celebrations, happiness and many emotions to feel. Experiences create fulfillment. Experiences create the life journey you want to live.

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer said, “An infinity of forest lies dormant within the dreams on one acorn.” What dreams and desires do you have? You are the creator of your forest. You are the creator of your life journey, and your life journey is amazing and marvelous. Your dreams and desires are the energy, purpose and passion to living your truth.

Living your truth is an intimate awareness of who you are. Who do you want to be? What do you want to do? What do you want to experience? What’s most important to you? What fulfills you? What do you imagine your life journey will be?

Living your truth is continuous growth, expansion and transformation. You are becoming more, becoming better, doing more, doing better, experiencing more and living a bigger and better life. You are growing and creating. Living your truth is making your dreams and desires come true, living your life with purpose and passion. Are you living on purpose with passion?

Living your truth is living with joy and gratitude, energy and enthusiasm. You choosing what is most important to you, so you experience feeling; love, joy, peace, gratitude, serenity, faith, abundance, freedom, and happiness. Living your truth is living a happy and fulfilled life. Are you choosing the good and positive for what’s most important to you?

Living your truth is living in present moment awareness. You choosing what is most important to you to be who you want to be, to do what you want to do and to experience what you want to experience. Are you living in present moment awareness?

Living your truth is feeling gratitude for who you are and who you are becoming. Living your truth is feeling gratitude for what you are doing and experiencing. You choose to feel gratitude for all experiences; positive and negative, happy and sad, the ups and downs, twists and turns of all your life journey. Living your truth is living your life moments fully. Are you grateful for your life, your experiences and your choices?

Living your truth is creating the life you want to live, being and doing what is most important to you and experiencing all you want to experience. Living your truth is living your life journey fully, living your dreams and desires, living a fulfilled life.

Living your truth is living a fulfilled life; being who you want to be, doing what you want to do and experiencing what you want to experience to create the life you want to live.

i like to think of my life as a flowing river. all the different currents are my dreams and desires creating my life journey.

the middle currents are faster and free flowing. the currents are the goals and desires that are grounded and centered in your core being.

the currents along the edges are slower having to feel the way and learn while moving along the river. the currents are dreams and desires for experiencing life fully and fulfilling your being.

sometimes there are obstacles, rocks and logs that block the flow of the currents. the obstacles slow the current down and need to be removed or navigated around for the current to continue it’s journey down the river.

a word, an intention

i have a word for my year. sometimes more than one. this word could be defined as my intention.

for me what helps make a year, a moment, a period of time fulfilling is having a word, an intention, to help guide my being.

an intention to be who i want to be and to create what i want to create.

goals are important, i enjoy having goals, and i have many.

being may be more important than doing. so i have my word, an intention.

am i being who i want to be? what do i want? what is most important to me?

i haven’t been experiencing and sharing and being and doing in all that’s important to me like i want to.

i became so focused on living life that i forgot to live life. i forgot to enjoy life and to share life.

i created this bubble around me to only let in so much. i wasn’t allowing myself to fully experience. i wasn’t allowing myself to fully be who i want to be. i wasn’t allowing myself to fully do what i want to do. and that was limiting my experiences.

part of this bubble was created because of expectations of myself to be not perfect… but yet perfect in every way, in all areas of life. i lost touch with the growth and expansion that i expect from life and that i truly enjoy from life. i got caught up in, ‘this is what i want, so i want it now’. my wanting to be all these different things, i got lost in the being and the doing and i wasn’t experiencing life.

time to pop the bubble and begin being and doing, with all the experiences of the bumps, twists and turns, failing and trying again, and experience life. experiencing all of life fully and not just a little bubble of life of limitation.

to enjoy the journey is to choose who to be and do what is most important to you. you chose to do this thing, be grateful that you are now doing it.

everyday we make choices; from the moment we wake to the moment we sleep. to enjoy the journey and live with enthusiasm be grateful for all the moments you are choosing.
