i love summer and seeing the trees full of their leaves. i like to watch the leaves shining, shimmering as they dance and reflect the sun. i too love the pieces of me, dancing and moving together reflecting the different pieces of me and who i am.
i am not always happy to see the leaves falling, and i resist the thought of summer and fall passing into winter. what am i resisting in my life? what pieces of me am i holding onto that i need to let go to allow for growth?
why do i resist? the trees don’t resist the letting go of their leaves. it is nature. it is natural. it is intended for growth to let go and allow for change.
what do i need to let go? the change of seasons indicates that letting go for being and new growth is needed. i need change for my being and growth too.
it’s not easy to let go some pieces of you, even the pieces you don’t want, they are connected to you, a part of you. i have experienced, letting go allows for growth.
and so i do so again. this time, not so graciously, i put up a fight. i kicked and screamed. i allowed myself to do the kicking and the screaming, i allowed all that energy to flow through me. and when i was done, i let it go.
i let it leave me, i decided that i could feel it and that i didn’t have to hold onto it.
right away i felt lighter. right away i felt freer. right away i felt new positive energy coming in to create and grow in the direction that i want to go.
i was being truer to myself and allowing more of me to be who i want to be, allowing more of me to do what i want to do, and allowing more of me to experience what i want to experience.
it’s interesting to me that as the trees have lost their leaves, i too have lost some pieces of me. i let go what needed to be let go to allow for my being and growth. i let go what i needed to let go to live my truth.

Gratitude is being grateful for what is from what was. Gratitude is being grateful for what is for what is to come.
What are you most grateful for? What experiences gave you the feelings of love and joy? What experiences were filled with laughter?
What do you most want? Are you grateful for the awareness of what you want? Are you grateful that you can choose your thoughts and actions to lead you to becoming who you want to be, doing what you want to do and experiencing what you want to experience?
Do you wake with energy and enthusiasm excited for what you will experience and create this new day?
Do you have a burning desire for living your life? Do you live your life with passion and purpose?
I enjoy the high energy feeling that I have when I am connected to what I want and know what I can do to move myself closer to that vision. Knowing where I am and where I want to go, and some of the actions in-between gives me the passion to live my life with purpose.
It energizes me. It builds the burning desire to be who I want to be, do what I want to do and experience what I want to experience – to live my truth!
There are times I get caught up in certain actions and goals, get in the habit/routine of living by a to-do list and the day directing me rather than me directing the day. I’m not as energized, I’m not as excited, I’m not as enthusiastic.
I take some time to connect with myself and what it is that I want. Where am I? What’s working to get me to my vision? What isn’t? What do I want? What can I do to get me to my vision?

And WOW, the flame is torched into a burning desire again. I’m waking with energy and enthusiasm excited for what I will experience and create in this new day!
What gives you energy and enthusiasm? What are you excited to experience and create today?
What is it that I expect? I expect to keep my goals in front of me more and more with positive thinking and choosing positive action. I expect to write weekly. I expect I will be more aware of my creating what I want, playing and experiencing life. I expect to be joyful and grateful, smiling and high energy. I expect to be living more in present moment awareness.
I am judging myself on what I am and what I am not getting done, good or bad, it just is. (Note to self, remember that, it just is!) I do want to be aware of where I am and where I want to go. I am busy and close to overwhelm many times. There are so many hours in a day, I can’t do all that I want to do right now. Take a breathe and focus on the now moment, let go of the judging, and do what is most important to me. What is my ‘now’ priority?
It is a challenge to do it all right now, sometimes I feel that I can’t do it all, I can’t have it all… that is doubt, I know I can! I know I will! It takes determination and persistence! Right now my balance is off (which it always is because I am constantly changing and growing). Because of my ever upward spiraling growth I will always be wanting to become more, do more and experience more. And that I am grateful for!
I want to be the best mom to my amazing kids and be involved in their activities and volunteering. I want to be a difference maker to others and empower them to live their truths. I want freedom to enjoy the abundance that is all around.
My kids are a priority to me. My wellbeing is a priority to me. My personal growth is a priority to me. Being a difference make is a priority to me. Financial security/independence/freedom is a priority to me.
My emphasis should be in the present moment! Enjoying the journey! Being grateful for what I have and for what I am creating! Keeping my goals before me, taking the best action, choosing positive. Not judging what I don’t get done and crossed off my to-do list. That is how I want to live! Enjoying the journey and expanding! Being who I want to be, doing what I want to do, and experiencing what I want to experience.
I want to create that! I want to let go having it ALL now, which will never happen because I am an expanding being and as I get what I want, what I want expands and grows. I want to allow joy, serenity, freedom, abundance, and gratitude! I want to enjoy life fully! I want to enjoy the journey! I do not want to get stuck and caught up in the goal and judging what I did and didn’t do, losing focus of all that is. It is a balance of big picture and little picture, vision focus and small goal actions focus. Enjoy the journey.
I am expecting to live life fully! I am expecting to live in present moment awareness and enjoy the journey! I am expecting BIG creation! I expect it, no limits! I am part of an unlimited abundant Universe! And so it is!
I feel like I am in present moment awareness and growing, learning and expanding. Living in present moment awareness enjoying my journey and experiences.
I don’t feel like I’m in present moment awareness choosing the positive choice, what makes me feel good and what will move me closer to achieve my goals and visions.
How different are the two?

Being in present moment awareness with awareness for my goals and visions being, doing, and experiencing life to achieve my dreams and desires
Am I choosing in the moment, choosing positive, choosing happy, choosing to reach my goals and visions? I am saying ‘no’ to some things to say ‘yes’ to my goals and visions, dreams and desires. I am aware of that and happy and grateful for that.
What am I expecting to feel? I need to choose to celebrate too! Maybe I’m comparing and judging too much? That feels like a correct idea. Awareness.
Awareness of the moment and enjoying the journey and experience
Awareness for positive thinking of goals and visions, dreams and desires
I think both present moment awareness’ are needed. Enjoy the journey and when I become aware of negative feelings – choose to think positively and take action on my goals and visions, dreams and desires.

Where are you? Do you know where you are in your life right now?
Are you where you want to be? Are you doing what you want to do?
To get to where you want to be you need to know where it is that you are starting from. Do you know where you are?
Knowing your values and your priorities gets you to where you want to go.
Your values are your foundation and guidance system. When you know what your values are and what they mean to you, you make choices that are in alignment with who you are and that guide you to where you want to be.
Your priorities help you to know what to focus on, what to give your energy to. When you know your priorities you guide your day and take action to grow and become who you want to be and do what you want to do.
Stephen Covey says “(Values) are the source of our passions in life, and they help us determine where we focus our energies.”
